Im Rahmen der Studienordnung sind zehn halbtägige "Kleine Exkursionen" vorgeschrieben. Die Teilnahme an diesen Exkursionen wird im Exkursionspass (erhältlich bei den Veranstaltern), z. T. nach Abgabe eines Exkursionsprotokolls, testiert. Alle Exkursionen werden jeweils am Exkursionsbrett in W3 angekündigt. Dort erfolgt die verbindliche Eintragung in die aushängenden TeilnehmerInnen-Listen. Die TeilnehmerInnen-Zahl ist in der Regel begrenzt. Weitere Einzelheiten und Literatur im Allgemeinen Aushang EXKURSIONEN (in W3) bzw. in den Einzelankündigungen.
