In diesem Projektseminar sollen kleine Roboter aufgebaut und programmiert werden, mit denen es möglich ist, gemäß den Spezifikationen der RoboCup Federation am RoboCup teilzunehmen.
Die Roboterweltcupinitiative (RoboCup) fördert die Forschung in KI und intelligenten autonomen Systemen, indem sie ein Standardproblem zur Verfügung stellt, bei dem eine Vielzahl von Technologien integriert und überprüft werden müssen. Zu diesem Zweck beschloss RoboCup, Fußballspiel zu benutzen und organisiert den "RoboCup: Die Roboterweltcupfußballspiele und -konferenzen."
Damit ein Roboterteam wirklich gut Fußball spielen kann, müssen verschiedene Techniken zusammen gebracht werden: Designprinzipien für autonome Agenten, Multiagentenkooperation, Strategieplanung, Echtzei tverarbeitung, Autonomie und Multisensorverarbeitung. Der RoboCup ist eine Aufgabe für ein Team sich schnell bewegender Roboter in einer dynamischen Umgebung. Der RoboCup bietet auch eine Plattform, um die Software-Aspekte in einer Simulation zu untersuchen.
