Das Seminar führt in die wichtigsten Theorien der Konfliktforschung ein. Mit einem erziehungswiss., soziologischem und sozialpsychologischem Blick sollen Theorien in ihren Grundannahmen vergleichen werden. Ebenso soll die Frage gestellt werden, welche empirischen Ergebnisse die Theorien unterstützen oder ihren zentralen Annahmen widersprechen. Soweit es möglich ist, sollen aktuelle Phänomen, die in der jeweiligen Disziplin der TeilnehmerInnen bedeutsam sind, konflitktheoretisch erörter werden. Um die Theorien anzueignen, empfiehlt es sich, das Seminar konsequent zu besuchen.
