Beginn 2. Semesterwoche, 15. 10. 2018 - pw für für Teilnahme und Lernraum wird in der ersten Sitzung bekannt gegeben.
Die Untersuchung menschlichen Verhaltens und Erlebens im Rahmen von Experimenten hat eine lange Tradition, die mindestens bis in das 19. Jahrhundert zurückreicht. Im Rahmen dieses Unternehmens hat sich ein Methodenkatalog herauskristallisiert, der es in systematischer Weise möglich macht, konkurriende Erklärungen von Verhalten und Erleben zu überprüfen. Dazu gehören die Planung eines Experiments, die festlegt, welche Aspekte des Verhaltens und Erlebens im Experiment erfasst (abhängige Variablen) und „manipuliert“ (unabhängige Variablen) werden sollen. Desweiteren sind noch Regeln zu nennen, die Durchführung eines Experiments (z.B. Stichproben-auswahl) sowie seine Auswertung (Statistik) betreffen. In dem Seminar soll dieser Methodenkanon der experimentellen Psychologie vorgestellt und anhand von eigenen Untersuchungen erlernt werden.

Walter Hussy & Anita Jain (2002) Experimentelle Hypothesenprüfung in der Psychologie. Göttingen: Hogrefe.
Weitere Literatur soll komplett im StudIP verfügbar gemacht werden.
