Eine konsequente Ausrichtung am Konsumenten kann Unternehmen entscheidende Wettbewerbsvorteile verschaffen. Ziel der Veranstaltung „Consumer Behavior“ ist es, den Studierenden einen Überblick über die Grundlagen der Konsumentenverhaltensforschung zu vermitteln. Dabei wird das Konsumentenverhalten sowohl in der analogen als auch in der digitalen Welt behandelt. Die Studierenden sollen vertiefte Kenntnisse über die wichtigsten Methoden zur Erhebung und Auswertung von Informationen zum Konsumentenverhalten erlangen, mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf den zugrunde liegenden Prozessen von Kaufentscheidungen. Ein besonderes Augenmerk liegt auf dem digitalen Konsumentenverhalten, das vor dem Hintergrund der fortschreitenden Digitalisierung unserer Welt zunehmend an Bedeutung gewinnt.
