- Courant, Richard : Introduction to calculus and analysis 1 & 2
- Smirnov, Vladimir I : Lehrgang der höheren Mathematik 1,2 & 3
- Arfken, George B. : Mathematical methods for physicists
- Dennery, Philippe : Mathematics for physicists
- Kerner, Hans : Mathematik für Physiker
- Fischer, Helmut : Mathematik für Physiker 1&2
- Morse, Philip McCord : Methods of theoretical physics 1&2

The binding module descriptions contain further information, including specifications on the "types of assignments" students need to complete. In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
