Motivation ist... vielfältig...facettenreich...dynamisch...logisch...unlogisch UND nicht nur für zukünftige LehrerInnen, BeraterInnen und DozentInnen ein relevantes Thema, sondern grundsätzlich für alle Menschen, wenn man Motivation als Motor des menschlichen Handelns begreift.

Das Seminar beleuchtet den Faktor Motivation in L2-Erwerbsprozessen aus theoretischer, empirischer und didaktischer Perspektive. In den ersten Sitzungen geht es um zentrale Theorien und Ansätze, die die Motivationsforschung bis heute geprägt haben. Um diese "theoretische Kost" auch auf individueller Ebene zu begreifen, werden in den entsprechenden Sitzungen Anwendungsaufgaben im Fokus stehen. Im Anschluss werden neuere Studienergebnisse zum Thema diskutiert und methodisch reflektiert. Die didaktische Ebene soll in Bezug auf die in den Seminardiskussionen gewonnenen Erkenntnisse stets mitgedacht werden.

Bereitschaft zum Lesen englischsprachiger Fachliteratur und keine Angst vor ein paar "gedanklichen Ausflügen" in die psychologische Motivationsforschung
