Wie funktioniert die Mathematik? Wie sicher sind ihre Erkenntnisse? Was haben Mathematik und Realität miteinander zu tun? Gibt es Widersprüche und unlösbare Fragen in der Mathematik? Was sind die Methoden und die Grenzen der Mathematik?
Das Seminar möchte Anregungen geben, über diese Fragen nachzudenken, zu diskutieren und eigene Positionen zu finden. Dies kann besonders für (angehende und praktizierende) Lehrkräfte interessant sein, die ja nicht unerheblich das Bild von Mathematik in der Gesellschaft prägen. Aber auch alle anderen interessierten Personen jenseits des Lehramtsstudiums mit Interesse an mathematisch-philosophischen Fragen sind in diesem Seminar willkommen!
