Weit vor aller empirischer Bildungsforschung ist die Pädagogik eine Wissenschaft von Menschen für Menschen. Doch was kann dieses Menschsein bedeuten?
Darf man diese Frage überhaupt beantworten, und überzeugen die Antworten? Ist z.B. die Reduktion des menschlichen Daseins auf ein naturwissenschaftliches Weltbild für Pädagog_Innen schlussendlich vertretbar oder liegt genau darin der Kern einer Erziehungs-Wissenschaft?
Oder konkreter: Sind Menschen von Natur aus faul? Muss ich sie führen oder kann ich sie wachsen lassen? Bringt „harte Zucht“ wirklich „goldene Frucht“? Kommt erst das Fressen, dann die Moral? (Brecht)Anhand dieser und anderer Leitfragen werden Klassiker der Pädagogischen/Philosophischen Anthropologie als theoretische Grundlage erarbeitet, auf der wir unsere eigenen Menschen-, Schüler-, und Klientenbilder reflektieren lernen und Ableitungen für das pädagogisch-professionelle Handeln ziehen.
