Im Zentrum des Seminars steht die Forschung und Entwicklung an der Wissenschaftlichen Einrichtung und der Versuchsschule Oberstufen-Kolleg. Es werden Methoden und Konzepte vorgestellt, welche sich auf drei Typen der Bildungsforschung beziehen: Praxisforschung, Evaluation und Grundlagenforschung. In den Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprojekten kooperieren Lehrende des Oberstufen-Kollegs mit den Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern der wissenschaftlichen Einrichtung. Im Rahmen des Seminars werden verschiedene Untersuchungsfragen aus den am Oberstufen-Kolleg Bielefeld laufenden Forschungsprojekten vorgestellt, die analytischen Zugänge betrachtet (qualitative vs. quantitative Methoden) und die Ergebnisse präsentiert und diskutiert.
Aspekte wie Selbstreflexion, formative Evaluation und Transfer sollen unter dem Blickwinkel der Schul- und Unterrichtsforschung anhand von Beispielen aus der Praxis theoretisch ergründet, kritisch reflektiert und auf ihre Praxisrelevanz hin bewertet werden.

Aktive Teilnahme: Voraussetzungen für die Teilnahme sind die vorbereitende Lektüre, aktive Mitarbeit im Seminar sowie schriftliche Stundenreflexionen.
Eine unbenotete Einzelleistungnen kann in den modulbezogenen Vertiefungsseminaren in Form von Hausarbeiten oder mündlichen Präsentationen erbracht werden. Dazu ist es notwendig sich entweder in der dem Seminar zugeordneten Schreibwerkstatt oder in der didaktischen Vertiefung anzumelden:
Die Vertiefung wird im Modul ME 18 (Beleg-Nr. 250048/Kullmann) angeboten. Im Rahmen dieser Veranstaltung wird die Einzelleistung erbracht.
