261021 Analytische Religionsphilosophie (S) (SoSe 2009)

In den letzten Jahrzehnten haben sich eine ganze Reihe Philosophen aus dem analytischen Lager vor dem Hintergrund moderner erkenntnistheoretischer Positionen und mit den Mitteln der modernen Logik mit klassischen religionsphilosophischen Fragen beschäftigt: Kann man die Existenz Gottes beweisen? Lässt sich die Annahme, dass es einen allmächtigen, allwissenden und gütigen Gott gibt, mit der Existenz des Übels in der Welt vereinbaren? Sind Eigenschaften wie Allwissenheit oder Allmacht überhaupt konsistent denkbar? In diesem Seminar wollen wir uns mit Texten von Autoren wie A. Plantinga, R. Swinburne und D. Lewis befassen.
Grundlage für die Vergabe von Leistungspunkten (BA- und MA of Education-Studiengang) ist eine gründlich vorbereitete Teilnahme an den Sitzungen und Essays im Umfang von insgesamt ca. 5-8 Seiten.

BA-Studiengang: Abschluss des ersten Studienjahres.
Günstig, aber nicht Voraussetzung sind Grundkenntnisse in Logik und/oder Sprachphilosophie.
