220123 Global-lokale Verflechtungen (S) (SoSe 2011)

Anknüpfend an die Diskussionen zum "spatial turn" und zur Globalgeschichte werden in dem Seminar/MA-Kolloqium aktuelle Beiträge zu der Debatte, wie sich "Lokalität" neu bestimmen lässt, diskutiert. Im Zentrum stehen die Fragen danach, wie sich Lokales und Globales gegenseitig beeinflussen und wie ihre Beziehung analysiert werden kann. Der Kurs wendet sich an Doktoranden der BGHS sowie an Masterstudierende, die ihre Masterarbeit zu einem Thema schreiben (möchten), das sich auf (im weitesten Sinne) global-lokale Verflechtungen beziehen lässt. Die Arbeiten werden in dem Kurs vorgestellt, ausführlich diskutiert und in aktuelle Forschungsdebatten zum Thema eingeordnet.

Der Kurs wendet sich in erster Linie an BGHS-Studierende, ist aber auch für Masterstudierende geöffnet.
