230279 Menschliche Sprachverarbeitungsleistungen: Inferenzprozesse (S) (SoSe 2018)

Vor dem Hintergrund zweier einander ergänzender psycholinguistischer Theorienfamilien - den datenbasierten 'bottom up'-Theorien und den wissensbasierten 'top down'-Theorien - zum Vrstehen sprachlicher Äußerungen befasst sich das Seminar schwerpunktmäßig mit dem Phänomen "Inferenz".

Inferenz bezeichnet das 'Hinausdenken' über das explizit Gesagte, also das Herstellen weiter gehender Bedeutungsbeziehungen: Man versteht mehr und anderes als das, was man hört oder liest. Im Seminar werden verschiedene Arten solcher Inferenzen, verschiedene methodische Paradigmen zu deren Nachweis und verschiedene experimentelle Untersuchungen zu deren Voraussetzungen und Effekten besprochen.

Das Seminar ist als Projektseminar konzipiert, bei dem die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer gemeinsam an der Erstellung einer Broschüre zum Thema "Inferenz" arbeiten.
