Mit erstarkendem Rechtspopulismus in Deutschland wird immer offensichtlicher, dass es auch in rechtsradikalen Kreisen ein reges Interesse an intellektueller Betätigung gibt – und zwar sowohl an ihren Produkten als auch an ihrer Ausübung: Damit Bücher aus rechtsradikaler Feder gekauft und gelesen werden können, müssen sie von engagierten Autor:innen und Verleger:innen geschrieben, gedruckt, publiziert und in Vorträgen vorgestellt werden. Auch innerhalb der radikal rechten Arbeitsteilung gibt es diejenigen, die für die Arbeit am Argument zuständig sind - rechte Intellektuelle also, die, genau wie ihre politisch anders gesinnten Pendants, "wesentlich auf das Medium der Öffentlichkeit sowie auf entsprechende Kommunikationsmittel und Institutionen angewiesen [sind]."[1]
Im Seminar soll uns dieser Zusammenhang zwischen Organisation und Rechtsintellektualismus mit Blick auf vier Aspekte interessieren:
Wir befassen uns also mit den organisationalen Entstehungsbedingungen rechter Theorie, ihrem Wechselspiel mit politischen Verbänden, Parteien bzw. Institutionen und ihrem Verhältnis zur breiteren sozialen Bewegung. Wir werden uns dazu Orte rechter Ideenproduktion in Deutschland – Think Tanks, Verlage, Bibliotheken – durch eine organisationssoziologische Brille ansehen und diskutieren, wie sie sich selbst im politischen Organisationsgefüge verorten. Textgrundlage sind, neben organisations- und intellektuellensoziologischen Literaturen, auch schriftliche Produkte des Rechtsintellektualismus selbst.
