Psychische Störungen verursachen bei den Betroffenen großes Leid und gehen mit hohen Kosten für das Gesundheitssystem einher. Die Prävention psychischer Störungen ist daher sowohl für die Betroffenen als auch für die Gesellschaft von großem Wert. In diesem Seminar werden wir uns zunächst mit dem Zielen und Grundlagen der Prävention beschäftigen und uns dann intensiv mit verschiedenen Programmen zur Prävention psychischer Störungen auseinandersetzen. Dabei spielen die theoretischen Grundlagen, die praktische Umsetzung, sowie die Überprüfung der Wirksamkeit eine wichtige Rolle und Sie werden lernen, wie Präventionsangebote ausgestaltet werden können. Einen besonderen Fokus werden wir auch auf die Prävention von Risikofaktoren für psychische Störungen, wie die Prävention von körperlicher, emotionaler und sexueller Gewalt legen.
