Migration ist eines der umstrittensten politischen Themen der letzten Jahre. Wir wollen uns den Streitfragen aus der Perspektive der politischen Philosophie nähern: Haben Menschen das Recht, in andere Staaten einzuwandern? Wenn ja, warum und unter welchen Umständen? Haben Staaten die Pflicht, Migranten aufzunehmen, oder haben sie das Recht, Einwanderung zu begrenzen? Wenn ja, warum und wie weit? Welche Pflichten hat ein aufnehmender Staat gegenüber Migranten? Und welches Verständnis von Staat, Demokratie, Grenzen und Menschenrechten liegt den verschiedenen Positionen zugrunde? Wir werden dazu einschlägige philosophische Texte diskutieren.
