In diesem Seminar wird das Spannungsfeld zwischen Hilfe und Kontrolle beleuchtet, das insbesondere im Kontext behördlicher Beratung zum Tragen kommt. Die von den Lehrenden angeleitete methodisch strukturierte und reflexive Auseinandersetzung mit der Thematik dient der Entwicklung analytischer Kompetenzen im Sinne des forschenden Lernens. Hierzu werden wir uns zunächst thematisch mit der inhaltlich strukturierenden qualitativen Inhaltsanalyse auseinandersetzen, um anschließend aufgrund beratungswissenschaftlich relevanter Perspektiven Kategorien bilden zu können. Insbesondere soll hierbei berücksichtigt werden, wie der Kontakt zwischen Mitarbeitenden in Behörden und Adressat*innen zustande kommt und welche Einflüsse behördliche Strukturen auf das Arbeitsbündnis nehmen können.
Besuche von Akteur*innen aus der behördlichen Praxis ermöglichen anschließend den Einsatz und das Einüben der Forschungsmethode sowie die Einbettung und Analyse in theoretische Bezüge. Mithilfe der Inhaltsanalyse als qualitative Forschungsmethode kann auf diese Weise erschlossen werden, welche Herausforderungen und spezifischen Merkmale sich im Kontext behördlicher Beratungsformate bestimmen lassen.
