Die Vorlesung bietet einen Überblick über Theorie und Empirie der psychologischen Emotions-, Motivations- und Volitionsforschung. Aus dem Bereich der Emotionspsychologie werden physiologische, kognitive und neuropsychologische Theorien der Emotionsgenese behandelt. Im Bereich der Motivationspsychologie werden Triebtheorien, kognitive Theorien, Volitionstheorien und Exekutivfunktionen behandelt.
