Aushandlungsprozesse bestimmen unseren kommunikativen Alltag ebenso wie spezielle Interaktionsformate im beruflichen und institutionellen Kontext. Dabei erhalten derzeit computervermittelte Formen der Interaktion vermehrte Bedeutung. Die Erforschung von Aushandlungsprozessen verlangt sowohl die intensive Auseinandersetzeung mit Theorien und Forschungsansätzen der Interaktions- und Gesprächslinguistik und verwandter Disziplinen als auch den Erwerb eigener Erfahrungen mit der Erhebung, Bearbeitung und Analyse natürlicher Interaktionsdaten im Feld.
Im Seminar werden wir zunächst gemeinsam wesentliche theoretische und methodische Grundlagen wiederholen, bevor wir in Projekten einzelne Aspekte an konkreten Fragestellungen bearbeiten. Die Ergebnisse der Analysen werden in den gemeinsamen Seminarsitzungen vorgestellt und diskutiert.
