Short Description:
Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS) have a good track record of accelerating human learning. In this project we aim to accelerate motor learning with an ITS on an example of piano playing. The project may include following topics depending on your interest:
• AI that generates music hit
• Gaussian Process models to optimize short-term practice utility
• reinforcement learning models to optimize long-term practice success
• exoskeleton Dexmo guides piano practice
Required skills (e.g. mandatory courses, if required)
• preliminary knowledge of AI methods (is a plus)
• solid knowledge of math (is a plus)
• python programming (required)
In case this would not find enough interest for a team project, this project proposal would be also offered (in reduced/modified form)
• an individual project
• a project for only 2 students
