"Die Science Fiction von heute ist das Science Fact von morgen." (Stephen W. Hawking, Astrophysiker)
Viele Bücher und Filme haben die menschliche Vorstellung der möglichen Technik, aber auch die Visionen von Wissenschaftlern geprägt. Die gezeigten Visionen dienten als Ansporn für neue Forschungsprojekte und haben die Entwicklung beeinflusst. So wird man feststellen, dass in vielen vor allem älteren Science-Fiction Filmen aus heutiger Sicht gar nicht mehr so viel Fiktion steckt. Besonders die Bereiche Künstliche Intelligenz, Virtuelle Realität und Robotik sind immer wieder beliebte Vorlagen für Autoren und Regisseure.
Im Rahmen dieses Seminars werden wir uns eine Reihe von Filmen anschauen und diese auf ihren Einfluss in die Wissenschaft analysieren und diskutieren.Vorläufige Termine:
17.4.2013: Total Recall (Diskussion am 8.5.)
15.5.2013: Moon (Diskussion am 22.5.)
29.5.2013: Stepford Wives (Diskussion am 5.6.)
12.6.2013: Welt am Draht (Diskussion am 19.6.)
26.6.2013: Metropolis (Diskussion am 3.7.)
10.7.2013: Eva (Diskussion am 17.7)Bei dem ersten Treffen werden wir die Liste der Filme gemeinsam besprechen. Es kann abgestimmt werden welche Filme geschaut werden. Danach wird im Wechsel eine Woche ein Film geschaut und in der folgenden Woche dieser Film diskutiert.
Für den Erwerb von Leistungspunkten gibt es drei Möglichkeiten:
1) Vorbereitung einer Filmdiskussion (in Kleingruppen)
2) Vorbereitung von 10 Diskussionsfragen mit skizzierter Antwort (maximal 3 zu einem Film)
3) Ausarbeitung (Themenabsprache bis zum 1.6.2013, Deadline 15.8.2013)
