Biografische Interviews als Methode der qualitativen Sozialforschung bieten viele Anknüpfungspunkte für die Lingustik an, ob inhaltlich z.B. in Bezug auf die Sprachbiografie oder formal z.B. bezogen auf die Durchführung der Interviews. Wir wollen uns gemeinsam unterschiedliche Herangehensweisen ansehen und die Möglichkeiten der Nutzbarmachung dieser Methode für die Soziolinguistik erörtern. Dabei sollen Sprachbiografien (die sich u.a. der Themen Mehrsprachigkeit, Dialekt, Zweitspracherwerb annehmen) im Zentrum der Bearbeitung stehen, wir wollen aber auch darüber hinausgehen.
Die Veranstaltung findet als Block verteilt auf zwei Wochen statt. Im ersten Teil werden wir gemeinsam die theoretischen und methodischen Grundlagen erarbeiten, um im zweiten Teil anwendungsorientierter zu arbeiten. Zum Ende der Vorlesungszeit wird ein Treffen aller Interessierten vereinbart werden, um Interessen und Anforderungen genauer abzustecken.
