Projektarbeit als elementaren Bestandteil schulischer Bildung im Sinne einer demokratischen Erziehung hat J. Dewey schon 1896 in einer Chicagoer Schule ("laboraty school") umgesetzt. Mit seinem Schüler W. Kilpatrick gilt er als Begründer dieser Methode, die weit verbreitet ist im schulischen Alltag Deutschlands - wenn auch häufig in modifizierter Form.
Im Rahmen dieses Seminars wird die Projektmethode handelnd erarbeitet und beispielhaft übertragen auf Themen der Primar- und Sekundarstufe. Es wird unter der besonderen Berücksichtigung der Förderschwerpunkte ESE und L diskutiert und reflektiert.
