Bibliography

In diesem Seminar werden 2-3 verschiedene, schwierige Fälle der Reproduktionsmedizin (z.B. Frühgeburtlichkeit und palliative Therapie, Schwangerschaftsabbruch nach PND) besprochen mit Hilfe derer medizinhistorisch und -ethisch das praktische Handeln und Entscheidungen unter Unsicherheit reflektiert werden.
Wir diskutieren die Rolle der Ärzt:innen und der Eltern; Wer trägt welche Last und wem wird welche Verantwortung zugewiesen im Zuge der Entscheidungen? Wer hat das Recht zu bestimmten Entscheidungen (reproduktive Autonomie)? Wie ist dieses historisch und gesellschaftlich beeinflusst? In welchem gesellschaftlichen Feld bewegt sich die medizinische Praxis und auf welche theoretischen Annahmen über Normen der Kindheitsentwicklung fußt sie? Was sind Beispiele für ärztliche Entscheidungen in diesem Kontext? Wann führe ich die Entscheidung einer anderen Person durch? Ab wann verfolgt man ein palliatives Behandlungsziel?
