Las Américas no solo suponen un espacio donde bienes, personas, estados o sociedades se entrelazan, se distancian o se contraponen, sino que se ha mostrado como un espacio sui generis donde sistemas de pensamiento se conectan, se transforman, se producen o se contraponen. Estas (des) conexiones o contraposiciones van mucho más allá de las relaciones norte-sur. Las ideas transitan dentro de todo el espacio americano siendo reapropiadas y transculturizadas dependiendo del grupo que las (re) producen. Así, el seminario busca a través del análisis de diferentes sistemas de conocimiento, que surgen en diferentes grupos americanos para afrontar un mismo problema dado, los entrelazamientos o desconexiones en el pensamiento producido en las Américas. De esta manera, se pretende dar un examen transversal al concepto de “Inter-Americano”.
Dentro de los temas a tratar se encuentran, entre otros, los siguientes:
- Descripción de la realidad: Realismo social o mágico.
- Estudios post-coloniales: ¿qué significa esto dos siglos después en las Américas?
- Grupo modernidad-colonialidad: crítica a la razón Latinoamericana.
- ¿La pobreza con o sin Dios? Estatus de la pobreza en la teología de la liberación y en los movimientos comunistas en América Latina?
