Contents, comment

In this interdisciplinary seminar we want to ask ourselves how life on Earth came into being. What is life? We want to understand what was going on shortly after the Big Bang 13.8 billion years ago, fish in the primordial soup of life and research extraterrestrial life.

We read and discuss current scientific publications from the fields of astrophysics, astrochemistry, biology and biomathematics.

Requirements for participation, required level

Interest in reading relevant scientific literature and lively discussion.

For students from all natural science courses (from about the 5th semester of a Bachelor programme)
