This seminar navigates across relations between social class and power, exploring how race, gender, ethnicity and national identity might play a particular role in the sport system.
We attempt to challenge paradigms and preconceptions around traditional approaches to open room for new perspectives around underrepresented groups in sports.
Hence, we will constantly discuss the integration of (z.B.) women, immigrants, LGBTQ+, as well as people with health conditions or impairments through a range of practical cases.

The binding module descriptions contain further information, including specifications on the "types of assignments" students need to complete. In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
Students are expected to:
- be able to communicate in English;
- proactively participate and engage in discussions;
- be open-minded about different ideas and backgrounds.
