Für den Strang MPH10 qualitative Methoden werden vier parallele Seminare angeboten. Eine Zuordnung von Studierenden zu den Seminaren erfolgt unter Berücksichtigung der Präferenzen der Studierenden im Wintersemester in MPH 10 und wird im Sommersemester beibehalten.
Im ersten Semester (MPH 10) stand in den vier Seminaren “Qualitative Forschung” die gedankliche Durchdringung und Einübung des Forschungsprozesses qualitativer Gesundheitsforschung im Vordergrund. Zugleich wurde als Studienleistung ein Forschungsplan für den Bereich Qualitative Forschung erstellt.
In diesem 2. Semester werden in den vier Seminaren ‘Spezifische Methoden Qualitativer Forschung’ (MPH 20) werden auf Grundlage der Forschungspläne qualitative Fragestellungen und Methoden eingeübt und umgesetzt.
Das Modul gliedert sich in vier Veranstaltungsteile, die sich über zwei Semester erstrecken. Im Wintersemester (MPH 10) werden die Grundlagen quantitativer und qualitativer Methoden der empirischen Gesundheitsforschung in zwei Strängen (Seminarteilen) erarbeitet. Im Sommersemester (MPH 20) folgen die Fortsetzungen beider Teile.

Um das Seminar erfolgreich abzuschließen, ist eine regelmäßige Teilnahme erforderlich. Die aktive Teilnahme am Seminar wird u.a. durch zwei Aktivitäten belegt: (a) Durchführung und Transkription eines leitfadengestützten Interviews pro Kleingruppe, (b) Präsentation der Ergebnisse auf der Abschlussveranstaltung.
Die Prüfungsleistung wird in Form einer Hausarbeit im Umfang von 8-10 Seiten abgelegt. Studierende, die in dieser Veranstaltung die Prüfungsleistung erbringen möchten, melden sich bis zum 16.06.2023 bei der Dozentin an. Am 23.06.23 erhalten sie dann ein Thema. Die Hausarbeit ist bis zum 21.08.2023 abzugeben.
