Die Vorlesung behandelt die Themen Aufmerksamkeit und Wahrnehmung, Kognitive Kontrolle, Gedächtnis und Handlungssteuerung aus neurokognitiver Perspektive, d.h. als basale Informationsverarbeitungsleistungen menschlicher und tierischer Gehirne. Ein zentrales Lernziel liegt darin zu zeigen, welche Erkenntnisse aus Verhaltensexperimenten in Kombination mit neurowissenschaftlichen Methoden (z.B. EEG, Patientenstudien, fMRT) gewonnen werden können. Eine sinnvolle Teilnahme setzt Grundwissen über Experimentelle Psychologie, Allgemeine und Biologische Psychologie sowie die Vorlesung Kognitive Neurowissenschaften I (WiSe 2022/23) voraus.

Requirements for participation, required level

Die Vorlesung „Kognitive Neurowissenschaften II“ richtet sich nur an BSc Hauptfach-Studierende der Psychologie, die das Anwendungsfach „Neurowissenschaften“ gewählt haben. Grundlegende Kenntnisse in Allgemeiner Psychologie, Physiologischer Psychologie und Methodenlehre sowie der Besuch der Vorlesung „Einführung in die Neuropsychologie (X.1)“ werden vorausgesetzt.
