Der Kinderbuchautor, Journalist und "Gebrauchslyriker" Erich Kästner (1899-1974) ist alleine schon landeskundlich interessant, weil er die politischen Epochen des 20. Jahrhunderts miterlebt und kommentiert hat; seine Texte werden - nicht nur im Ausland - auch gern im Sprachlernkontext eingesetzt, finden sich bis heute in vielen in- und ausländischen DaF-Lehrwerken.
Unter literaturdidaktischen Fragestellungen werden wir uns darüber hinaus mit den sog. Easy Readers (Adaptionen literarischer Texte), Verfilmungen und Umsetzungen in Hörspiele beschäftigen.
3 Leistungspunkte sind durch regelmäßige Teilnahme (75% Anwesenheit Kontaktunterricht), Vor-/Nachbereitung und gesonderte Lektüre zu erwerben. Das Ablegen einer mündlichen Prüfung ist möglich.
