Triangulation bzw. mixed methods sind in den letzten Jahren in der Sprachlehr- und -lernforschung zu einer regelrechten Modeerscheinung geworden.
Im Rahmen dieses Seminars wird zunächst ein Blick auf Definitionen, Zielsetzungen und Formen von Triangulation geworfen.
Im zweiten Teil des Semesters erarbeiten die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer ein triangulatives Forschungsdesign, das anschließend in Arbeitsgruppen umgesetzt und zu einem Gesamtergebnis zusammengeführt wird. Zielsetzung dieses Projektseminars ist es somit, durch den Einsatz triangulativer Forschungsstrategien am praktischen Beispiel zu einer realistischen Einschätzung der Möglichkeiten und Grenzen von Triangulation zu gelangen.
