Die Veranstaltung soll in das Bürgerliche Recht einführen. Im Zentrum steht das erste Buch des BGB, der Allgemeine Teil: Hierin werden Begriffe, Definitionen und Institute behandelt, die für alle nachfolgenden vier Bücher (Schuld-, Sachen-, Familien- und Erbrecht) von grundlegender Bedeutung sind.
