Das Seminar bereitet auf zwei Ebenen auf die Anforderungen des Praxissemesters vor: Zum einen werden ausgehend von älteren und jüngeren fachdidaktischen Studien mögliche Forschungsfelder für die Studienprojekte des Praxissemesters erarbeitet; quantitative und qualitative Zugänge werden exemplarisch mit ihren Erhebungs- und Auswertungsmethoden vorgestellt und diskutiert. Zum anderen greift das Seminar – anknüpfend an die Veranstaltungen des Bachelorstudiums - Fragen der Unterrichtsplanung und -gestaltung und Kriterien guten Geschichtsunterrichts auf. Aufbauend auf diese beiden Grundlagen entwickeln die Studierenden im Seminar eigenständige Projektideen nach ihren inhaltlichen und methodischen Forschungsinteressen.
