Das Seminar zum Thema ‚Fachberatung in der frühen Kindheit – eine pädagogische Beratung‘ beschäftigt sich mit der spezifischen Form fachlicher Beratung aus der Perspektive pädagogischer Beratungsforschung. Dazu wird einerseits dieses äußerst heterogene Praxisfeld in seiner Aufgaben- und Adressierungsbezug beleuchtet und grundlegend mit den Inhalten in der pädagogischen Beratung in Zusammenhang gebracht. Das Spannungsfeld, das die frühkindliche Fachberatung ausmacht, insbesondere wenn Fach- und Dienstaufsicht einhergehen wird ausgeleuchtet und mit theoretischen Wissensbeständen versehen.
