The course provides a comprehensive exploration of the United Nations' crucial role in the global arena, offering an in-depth understanding of the organisation's structure, including its constitution, main bodies, and the functioning of the International Court of Justice. Emphasising the UN's contemporary significance in shaping global governance, the course allows participants to scrutinise its diverse responsibilities, ranging from maintaining peace and security to promotig international collaboration in addressing urgent issues such as poverty and climate change.
By conducting a thorough analysis of key case studies, participants will have the opportunity to acquire practical insights into the policies of the UN, empowering them to evaluate its effectiveness and global impact.
