Contents, comment

Am Beispiel ausgewählter Epochen(umbrüche) führt die Vorlesung in die Probleme der Literaturgeschichtsschreibung und der historischen Textanalyse ein. Dabei geht es um die Alterität der Vergangenheit, die spezifischen Formen ihrer Vergegenwärtigung, sowie Fragen der Methodik. Zu diesem Zweck werden aktuelle Theorien des literarhistorischen Wandels, Periodisierungsmodelle, Methoden der Kontextualisierung und neueste Ansätze der Digital Humanities vorgestellt und im Hinblick auf ihre Leistungsfähigkeit analysiert.
