Die Stössel-Laute, benannt nach ihrem Erfinder Georg Stössel, ist ein Zupfinstrument aus der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts. Insbesondere in und um Köln schrieb das Instrument eine musik(-pädagogische) Erfolgsgeschichte. Geboren aus dem Geist der Jugendbewegung war die Stössellaute preiswert in der Herstellung und besonders einfach zu erlernen. Ganze Schulklassen wurden in Köln und Umgebung damit ausgestattet und unterrichtet.
Wir sägen, hobeln, leimen, wir musizieren und wir unterziehen die musiktheoretischen und musikpädagogischen Ansätze Stössels einer kritischen Durchsicht. Der Arbeitsaufwand ist EXORBITANT - das Ergebnis möglicherweise auch! Wir planen zusätzliches Arbeitswochenende. Es entstehen Materialkosten.
