Diese Veranstaltung richtet sich an Studierende aller MA-Studiengänge, die ihre Abschlussarbeit im Bereich "Politik und Gesellschaft" (AB 4) schreiben. Neben der Diskussion der einzelnen Masterarbeitsprojekte werden die häufigsten Probleme und Herausforderungen behandelt, die im Rahmen der Erstellung von MA-Abschlussarbeiten auftreten. So sollen Fragen zur Themenwahl und -eingrenzung, zur Konzeptualisierung, zur Gliederung und argumentativen Systematik, zum Verhältnis und zur Verbindung von Theorie und Empirie, etc. besprochen werden.
