Ziel ist das Verständnis der institutionellen Struktur, der Prozesse und der Dynamiken der Europäischen Union am konkreten Beispiel der Entwicklung des Politikfeldes 'Umwelt und Klimawandel'.
Das gewählte Beispiel der EU Umweltpolitik mit der Fallstudie ‚Richtlinie über die Qualität von Badegewässern’ (Überarbeitung 2002-2006) soll zeigen, welche Faktoren und Interessen im EU System zusammenspielen und wie sie die institutionellen Rahmenbedingungen, die Verfahren und damit auch die Inhalte der politischen Entscheidungen auf EU Ebene beeinflussen. Besonderes Augemerk wird auf die Rolle und Interessen verschiedener Akteure und auf das Zusammenspiel der verschiedenen Ebenen der Politikgestaltung und Umsetzung gelegt.
Die PP-Präsentationen zu den einzelnen Abschnitten werden nach den Veranstaltungen im EKVV zur Verfügung gestellt.
