Inhaltlich steht die Einführung in die gesetzlichen Grundlagen und die Strukturen und Institutionen der drei zentralen Handlungsfelder der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe in Deutschland im Mittelpunkt: Kita, Jugendarbeit und Hilfen zur Erziehung. Historische Aspekte dieser drei zentralen Handlungsfelder werden ebenso wie aktuelle Diskurse beleuchtet, u.a. auch durch die Einladung von Praxisvertreter*innen. Die Diskussion von Texten zu verschiedenen Aspekten der Jugendhilfe ist in Kleingruppen geplant.

Studienleistungen: Mitarbeit in einer selbst gewählten themenspezifischen Kleingruppe + schriftliche Zusammenfassung eines Textes zum Thema und der Diskussion mit den anderen Kleingruppenmitgliedern
Prüfungsleistungen: mündliche Prüfungsleistungen, schriftliche Prüfungsleistungen in Form von Hausarbeiten möglich (Näheres dazu im Seminar).
