Ce cours introduit les étudiantes/-ts à la lecture de textes francophones. Il permet également de mieux saisir le lien existant entre l'histoire de l'art et d'autres savoirs qui relèvent de la sociologie ou de l'anthropologie.
La lecture des extraits choisis formera le coeur de cet enseignement. Le cours ne constitue nullement un substitut à la lecture; il ne vise qu'à faciliter cette dernière en l'organisant.
