261024 Kant: Prolegomena (S) (SoSe 2017)

Kant selbst bezeichnet seine 1783 erschienenen „Prolegomena“ als „Vorübungen“ zu seiner „Kritik der reinen Vernunft“, in der es darum gehe, „das reine Vernunftvermögen in seinem ganzen Umfange und Grenzen“ darzustellen. Die „Prolegomena“ bieten sich daher als eine knappe Einführung in Kants Transzendentalphilosophie an, in der Kant die Frage zu beantworten versucht, ob und wie nicht-empirische Erkenntnis (in Mathematik, Naturwissenschaft und Metaphysik) möglich ist.
Der Kurs dient der praktischen Einübung der Textanalyse und methodischen Interpretation anhand eines philosophischen Klassikers. Wir werden diesen nicht ganz leichten Text gründlich lesen und ihn uns verständlich zu machen versuchen. Dabei sind Ihre eigenen Fragen an den Text herzlich willkommen. Zur Vorbereitung empfehle ich (ggf. auch auszugsweise) Konstantin Polloks Einleitung zur u.a. Ausgabe der „Prolegomena“.
