Das Bilderbuch ist ein multimodales Medium, in dem Text und Bild und ihr Zusammenspiel eine wichtige Rolle spielen. Insbesondere im Deutschunterricht der Grundschule bietet das Vorlesen von Bilderbüchern den Kindern anregungsreiche und komplexe Geschichten, über die sie nachdenken und zu denen sie sich in Beziehung setzen können - auch dann, wenn sie den Leseprozess noch nicht hinlänglich automatisiert haben. Wenn ein Bilderbuch vorgelesen wird, wird das Arbeitsgedächtnis der Kinder kognitiv entlastet und sie können sich voll und ganz auf den gehörten Text und die zu betrachtenden Bilder konzentrieren. Damit eine solche Rezeptionssituation gewinnbringend verläuft, sollte die Lehrkraft über gute Vorlese- und Präsentationkompetenzen verfügen. Darüber hinaus können Bilderbücher aber auch ohne die Präsenz eines Vorlesenden zu Gehör gebracht und vor Auge geführt werden, indem mit den Bilderbüchern beigefügten Audioaufnahmen gearbeitet wird. - Im Seminar werden wir uns mit beidem beschäftigen: Sowohl mit dem Ausbau der eigenen Vorlese- und Präsentationskompetenz als auch mit der Gestaltung von bilderbuchbegleitenden Audioaufnahmen.
