In diesem Seminar werden Konzepte, Modelle, Theorien und Methoden der empirischen Sprachlehr- und -lernforschung vertiefend behandelt. Dabei steht die kritische Rezeption neuerer empirischer Forschungsarbeiten zum Faktor Motivation im Zentrum. Von besonderer Relevanz sind dabei Fragen, mit welchen Motiven und Motivationen Fremdsprachen gelernt werden und wie sich solche Variablen auf Erfolg und Misserfolg des L-2-Erwerbs auswirken können. Von besonderem Interesse werden außerdem Fragen sein, wie Ergebnisse der L-2-Motivationsforschung für den DaF- und DaZ-Unterricht nutzbar gemacht werden können und welche Möglichkeiten es zur Motivierung von DaF- und DaZ-Lernenden gibt. Hierfür werden auch unterschiedliche methodische Einzelverfahren entwickelt und diskutiert werden.
Voraussetzung zur Teilnahme am Seminar ist die Bereitschaft zur aktiven Beteiligung an semesterbegleitender Gruppenarbeit.
Ein Reader wird zu Beginn des Semesters in Stud.IP zur Verfügung gestellt.
