Prosodie beschäftigt sich mit suprasegmentalen sprachlichen Phänomene, z.B. der Sprechmelodie (Intonation), der Akzentuierung, Längung/Verkürzung oder der rhythmischen Struktur von Äußerungen, sofern diese kommunikative Funktionen erfüllen. Wir lernen verschiedene Beschreibungsmodelle sowie Messmethoden kennen, mit denen prosodische Phänomene erfasst werden können und wenden sie in kleineren Studien selber an.
Im Kurs sollen folgende Inhalte behandelt werden:

- Prosodischer Fokus
- Sprachlicher Rhythmus
- Paralinguistische PhänomeneAnnotationen und Messmethoden
- Annotation der Sprechmelodie: GToBI, KIM
- Parametrisierung von Grundfrequenzkonturen (Fujisaki, TILT, PaintE)
- Messung von Betonungsstärke (Prominenz)
- Messung rhythmischer Variation
