Christliche Religiosität äußert sich nicht nur in Texten. Zumal in Zeiten einer nur begrenzten Lesefähigkeit sind Bilder ein besonders aussagekräftiges Medium religiöser Mentalitäten und Prägungen. Im multimedialen Zeitalter gewinnt dieser Sachverhalt neue Brisanz.
Mittelalter und Reformation drücken ihre Christlichkeit auch in Bildern aus. Anknüpfung und Bruch in der Sicht des Christlichen lassen sich in der Aufnahme und Veränderung von Bildmotiven verfolgen. Besonders aufschlußreich sind neben den Andachtsbildern, die unmittelbar dem frommen Leben dienen, die Lehrbilder, bei denen meist Bild und Text kombiniert sind.
Solche Bilder sollen im Seminar betrachtet und auf ihren religiösen und theologischen Gehalt befragt werden.
ANFORDERUNGEN Regelmäßige Mitarbeit, gezielte Vorbereitung einzelner Sitzungen.
