Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung soll die Anwendung verschiedener multivariater Verfahren mittels des Statistikpakets SPSS eingeübt werden. Hierbei wird das jeweilige Verfahren kurz theoretisch skizziert, um dann anhand eines Beispieldatensatzes den Studierenden die Möglichkeit zu geben, die jeweiligen Verfahren selbstständig durchzuführen und die Ergebnisse gemeinsam zu diskutieren. Es ist vorgesehen, im Rahmen der Veranstaltung die multivariate Varianzanalyse, die multiple Regression, die Faktorenanalyse, die Clusteranalyse, die logistische Regression sowie die Diskriminanzanalyse zu thematisieren. Die Veranstaltung richtet sich an fortgeschrittene Studierende, welche die Grundausbildung in Statistik abgeschlossen haben.
