Unser Verhalten entsteht aus den unterschiedlichsten Motivationen heraus. Neben den Grundbedürfnissen wie z. B. Schlaf oder Essen spielen natürlich auch Belohnungen in jeglicher Art eine wesentliche Ursache. Im Seminar werden zunächst neuronale Korrelate von Schlaf, Essen und Sex durch Referate vorgestellt und diskutiert. Anschließend sollen diese Erkenntnisse dann auf Studien, die Auswirkungen von beispielsweise Drogen und Musik auf unser Gehirn untersucht haben, übertragen werden. So soll ein Verständnis für motivationales Verhalten aus neurowissenschaftlicher Sicht vermittelt werden.
