Die Veranstaltung vermittelt Grundlagen der Semantik und Pragmatik. In der ersten Hälfte des Semesters beschäftigen wir uns mit der kontextunabhängigen Bedeutung von Worten und Sätzen. In der zweiten Hälfte des Semesters werden wir dann aufbauend auf diesen Grundlagen sprachliche Bedeutung in konkreten Äußerungskontexten behandeln. Wir erschließen uns zentrale pragmatische Konzepte wie Präsupposition, konversationelle Implikatur, Informationsstruktur und Sprechakt.
Die Vorlesung selbst wird in Form von Videos im LernraumPlus zur Verfügung gestellt werden. In der Vorlesungszeit werden Fragen zu den aktuellen Vorlesungsinhalten geklärt und Übungsaufgaben besprochen, die auf die Klausur vorbereiten. Diese Sitzungen finden in Zoom statt und die Vorlesung wird dazu in zwei möglichst gleich große Gruppen von Studierenden aufgeteilt (Semantik und Pragmatik A und B).
