This course offers exploration of how linguistic theories and methodologies can be practically applied within the context of primary English education. The focus will be on developing a research project, analysing empirical data from primary classrooms to understand how knowledge in the areas of phonetics, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics can be applied and help to find answers to questions relevant to language teachers and/or learners.
Students require basic knowledge and terminology acquired in Basis 3.1 and 3.2. It is highly recommended that they have successfully completed these courses before attending this seminar.
